Every June, millions of Americans celebrate the culture, struggles, and victories of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) community during PRIDE month. These celebrations often culminate in a PRIDE parade.
2020 marked 50 years since the Christopher Street Liberation Day March on June 28, 1970
Christopher street is a short walk from the High School of Fashion Industries and as a part of the West Village, has been THE safe haven for LGBTQ youth for as long as we can remember apart from Harvey Milk High School located in the Village.
